Scope and limitations
PAVNESS provides decision science diagnostics and operational decision mapping. PAVNESS does not provide legal advice, accounting or attest services, statutory compliance certification, or assurance of any kind, and is not a registered public accounting firm.
All outputs are observations of conditions at a point in time, produced from information made available by the Client, and are intended solely to assist the Client’s management and counsel in forming their own conclusions. No opinion is expressed on legal compliance, on the adequacy of any control, or on whether any system should be deployed. The Client retains sole responsibility for all decisions, risk acceptance and remediation.
No third-party reliance
This report is prepared for the Client alone. No other person or entity may rely on it, and PAVNESS assumes no duty of care to any third party who obtains it.
Limitation of liability
The aggregate liability of PAVNESS arising from this engagement is limited to the fees paid. Neither party is liable for indirect, consequential, special or punitive damages, or for lost profits. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, gross negligence or wilful misconduct.
Regulatory references
Where we reference SR 26-2, the CPPA ADMT regulations, or any other rule, we do so to describe the landscape our clients operate in. Whether a specific organization is covered, and what it must do, is a determination for its counsel. This is not legal advice.
